DESCRIPTION: Lightcatcher is located in downtown Decatur and was designed and built for a well-known Atlanta architectural photographer. It sits on a quiet street and houses her studio and residence. The home is built on the foundations of an existing residence. Public functions were placed on the main level and the private spaces are on the second level with a light filled atrium which has a 16' high frosted glass lens aperture facing east and imbuing the house with a soft and diffused light.
